Welcome to Sun Trivadu. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, guidelines, and booking conditions for our private excursions, desert safaris, and transfer services in Egypt. By requesting a booking or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Bookings & On-Site Payments
We prioritize convenience and flexibility. Our booking process operates on simple, straightforward rules:
- No Advance Deposits: Standard private bookings are completed online, via WhatsApp, or through email without requiring up-front deposit fees.
- Settle On-Site: Tour balances are paid in cash directly to your designated tour coordinator or driver on the day of your scheduled excursion.
- Accepted Currencies: We accept cash payments settled in Euros (€), US Dollars ($), British Pounds (£), or Egyptian Pounds (EGP) based on current standard conversion rates.
2. Child Policy & Family Discounts
Sun Trivadu is dedicated to hosting family-friendly experiences. We offer the following standard discounts for young travelers:
- Infants (Ages 0 to 4): Free of charge on all standard excursions when accompanied by paying adults.
- Children (Ages 5 to 11): Eligible for a 50% discount off standard adult pricing.
- Youth (Ages 12+): Handled under standard adult pricing parameters.
3. Hotel Pickups & Custom Transfers
Our private transfers are carefully coordinated to maintain seamless pickup timelines:
- Resort Pickups: Pickups are conducted directly from designated hotel lobbies in Marsa Alam, Port Ghalib, and El Quseir.
- Punctuality: Guests are requested to be ready in their lobby at the agreed-upon pickup time. Driver delays resulting from local checkpoints are communicated immediately.
- Room Numbers: Your hotel name and room number must be provided to our coordination team. This enables local vehicle permits and allows lobby security verification.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation rules are built to be supportive:
- Cancellation Policy: Please notify us of any cancellations at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled excursion. This helps us adjust our staff, drivers, and boat resources without penalties.
- Hassle-Free Rescheduling: Tours may be rescheduled to other available dates without penalty, subject to marine vessel or private vehicle availability.
5. Guest Responsibilities & Conservation
To preserve Egypt's delicate land and marine ecosystems, guests must adhere to simple environmental guidelines:
- Protect Marine Wildlife: It is strictly prohibited to touch, chase, feed, or disturb marine mammals, green sea turtles, dolphins, dugongs, or live coral formations.
- Mandatory Life Jackets: For security and protection of coral reefs, life jackets or flotation aids must be worn by all snorkelers during open-water sessions.
- Guide Instructions: Guests must follow the safety instructions given by our certified professional guides, boat captains, and safari leaders.
6. Weather Conditions & Safety Cancellations
Participant safety is our highest priority. In cases of unexpected weather conditions, high winds, or harbor closures dictated by local authorities:
- Sun Trivadu reserves the right to reschedule or cancel marine excursions to maintain safety standards.
- If an excursion is canceled due to bad weather, guests will be offered a full reschedule or cancelation with zero charges.
7. Liability & Insurance
While we apply high safety standards across our vehicles, boats, and equipment, please note:
- Sun Trivadu is not liable for the loss or damage of personal belongings (cameras, smartphones, cash, jewelry) during transfers or excursions.
- We are not responsible for injuries resulting from guest negligence, failure to follow guide instructions, or ignoring conservation safety standards.
- We strongly recommend that all travelers secure comprehensive personal travel and medical insurance prior to departing for Egypt.
